The WC Paf Users Group was given some St. George Cemetery Burial records recently. The information on these records will add additional information on those grave sites.
Because we have these records and want to help see that the Washington County Cemeteries have as much information available as possible to those searching for information we are looking for volunteers.
Max Turpin is entering these records on to the Find-A-Grave web site and Fran Lightner is entering on to www.utahcemeteries.com
Along with the information from the Burial records we would like to add pictures, usually 2 or 3, of each grave site and the inscription from the marker. There are over 4,000 graves at the St. George cemetery and adding in those from other cemeteries in the county, that is A LOT of work to get done!
To make progress on this project we will need volunteer help..
Each volunteer can go on their own schedule. You can come and go and do as many graves you can fit in to your time, and energy schedule.
We also want to get the word out that we are accepting personal information, pictures and histories on those buried in the county cemeteries.
